Catherine Cioffi, RD found her passion early for nutrition and dietetics. Originally from New Jersey, Catherine earned a bachelor’s in nutritional sciences from Cornell, and completed the dietetic internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She then spent several years working in food industry, supporting Global R&D at PepsiCo, Inc within the Nutrition Sciences function. She is now living in Atlanta, Georgia while working toward her PhD at Emory University. Her research interests include the underlying interplay between diet, lifestyle, and chronic disease, and strategies to promote better nutrition in children and families. When not working, she enjoys brunch with friends, experimenting with new fitness classes (thanks Class Pass!), and outdoor activities in the Georgia sun!
