05 Mar Product Review and Giveaway: simplyFUEL Protein Balls
Have you noticed lots of balls and bites coming on the market lately? As part of my job I get to taste many of them. Hands down, these simplyFUEL Protein Balls are one of my favorites. Usually I get free samples to check if I like the nutrition and flavor, but these babies were so tasty that I put in an order on Amazon to get more! I contacted founder Mitzi Dulan, who agreed to send the winner of this giveaway two large bags of simplyFUEL (thanks Mizti!).
More About simplyFUEL
These protein balls were developed by registered dietitian Mitzi Dulan who was the World Championship Winning Sports Nutritionist for the 2015 Kansas City Royals and served as their team nutritionist for 11 years. Mitzi was also the team sports nutritionist for the Kansas City Chiefs Football Team for over eight seasons and the team sports nutritionist for The Golden State Warriors Basketball Team. She also authored of The Pinterest Diet: How to Pin Your Way Thin and co-author of The All-Pro Diet: Lose Fat, Build Muscle, and Live Like a Champion with NFL future Haler Tony Gonzalez.
So how did Mitzi’s protein balls become so popular? Mitzi decided to make her protein balls for the Kansas City Royals towards the end of the regular season late September 2015. The players loved them and, two days later, the Royals clinched the American League Division for the first time in 30 years. Made with gluten-free oats, organic peanut butter, whey protein, almonds, coconut, and probiotics, these simplyFUEL is perfect before or after a workout, practice, or game, or an anytime on-the-go power snack. I even enjoy these protein balls as an evening snack with a glass of wine!
Available flavors of simplyFUEL protein balls include:
- Brownie Batter
- Chocolate Almond Coconut
- Chocolate Coconut Peanut Butter
- Peanut Butter Honey Almond
I ordered the Peanut Butter Honey Almond, which has the following nutrition information:
