Katy Pic

Katy Zanville completed her Master’s of Science degree in Nutrition from Hunter College and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nutrition with an emphasis in Culinary Science from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. She is a future registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and is completing her dietetic internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. She has worked in the food service industry for over seventeen years and has experience in food safety, food service management, and corporate recruiting.  Through working with Toby Amidor and Alissa Rumsey, Katy has found a passion for nutrition communications and received the Frederick Green Memorial Award in 2018 for her work with Alissa Rumsey, RD.She hosts a food podcast called Butter + Jam with Amanda Odmark. Katy helps people improve their relationship with food and believes that optimal mental, physical, and emotional health can be achieved without a focus on weight. Melissa O’Shea is a Registered Dietitian with a Masters Degree in Nutrition from Columbia University. Throughout her career, she has counseled clients on a wide variety of issues, including weight loss, heart health, prenatal and postnatal nutrition, Diabetes and sports nutrition. Melissa is the National Director of Nutrition at exhale spa, as well as an adjunct professor at a local college. She also works extensively in corporate wellness, presenting lectures and health fairs at numerous corporations throughout the New York City area. Follow Melissa on Twitter.

Gail Watson is presently completing her Masters in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at Teachers College, Columbia University. Gail has an extensive background in the food business, and her love of cooking inspires her approach to healthy eating. She is also the author of the acclaimed blog, A Stack of Dishes, and is a contributor to The Daily Meal. After graduating, Gail plans to start an online menu subscription service for those with diabetes or need better blood sugar management.
