Katy Zanville completed her Master’s of Science degree in Nutrition from Hunter College and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nutrition with an emphasis in Culinary Science from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. She is a future registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and is completing her dietetic internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. She has worked in the food service industry for over seventeen years and has experience in food safety, food service management, and corporate recruiting. Through working with Toby Amidor and Alissa Rumsey, Katy has found a passion for nutrition communications and received the Frederick Green Memorial Award in 2018 for her work with Alissa Rumsey, RD.She hosts a food podcast called Butter + Jam with Amanda Odmark. Katy helps people improve their relationship with food and believes that optimal mental, physical, and emotional health can be achieved without a focus on weight.
