Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen and thawed strawberries, quartered
  • ¾ cup fresh or frozen and thawed blueberries
  • ¾ cup fresh or frozen and thawed raspberries
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons 100% maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 (5.3 oz) cups Vanilla, Plain, or Berry lowfat yogurt
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, water, maple syrup, lemon juice, and cinnamon to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the berries have thickened and broken down, 12 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat, and allow 10 minutes to cool.
  2. Spoon one container of yogurt into a bowl and top with 5 tablespoons of the berry compote.
