09 Mar 31 Days of Healthy Eating: Day 9 Tip from Stephanie Middleberg
It’s day 9 of National Nutrition Month! Today’s tip is from a national nutrition expert who has a booming private practice in New York City. A friend introduced us a few years back, and we have been friends ever since chatting about nutrition over our rather infrequent lunches (we are both so busy!). Enjoy Stephanie’s words of wisdom!
Close Down the Kitchen After Dinner
Many people are night eaters which prevent them from reaching their goals. They are perfect all day and lose it after dinner. And let’s be honest, the after dinner snack isn’t a healthy snack its usually focused around a “treat.” This is my tough time too so I get it. After dinner snacking happens for a variety of reasons, one of which is simply a habit. If you can make it a few weeks with committing to close down the kitchen after dinner (OR at least keep to just a piece of fruit) and then having some tea or water with lemon) you will remarkably better in the morning.
