Ingredients
- 1 (19-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Place the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a food processor and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
- With the machine running, gradually add the olive oil and blend until well incorporated.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Serve immediately, or cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
