Ingredients
- 1½ tablespoons Stevia brown sugar blend (like Truvia or Splenda) or 3 tablespoons granulated sugar or honey
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons sugar-free syrup
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1½ cups raw almonds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar blend (or sugar or honey), sea salt, cayenne pepper, sugar-free syrup, and olive oil. Add the almonds and toss to combine.
- Spread the almonds on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the oven until toasted, 8 to 10 minutes, tossing halfway through. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the almonds to cool for at least 10 minutes.
- Place about ¼ cup of almonds into each of 6 re-sealable bags or containers. Store at room temperature for up to 1 week.
