Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 lemons, 1 juices and 1 sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 bunch asparagus (1 pound), washed and trimmed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, juice of 1 lemon, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Add the asparagus and toss to evenly coat.
- Spread the asparagus is a single layer on a baking sheet. Top with the lemon slices.
- Place the sheet pan in the oven and roast until the asparagus is slightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes, tossing halfway through.
- Serve warm.
